The course is based on the EU Socrates Project 'Television News on Europe' and will explore some of the steps we have undertaken during the project.

We will mainly concentrate on media production and its evaluation and how this process can be used in the classroom. All exercises will on one hand help how to use the technologies (camera, editing, studio) and at the same time consider the implications of these practical steps.

Following issues will be included: Questions of representation, questions of identity, practical media work and intercultural education.
