More about the public transport:

Since some have asked:
All tickets can be either used for S-Bahn, U-Bahn or Bus. More information about tickets can be found online: www.bvg.de (all in English), including an online map where you can put in your destinations.
Most tickets need to be validated (stamped with small boxes on the platform). Tickets get checked from time to time and there is a fine if you are caught without a valid ticket.
Current prices: Single ticket Berlin AB (covering all of Berlin), 2 Euro; Dayticket Berlin AB 5,60 Euro and a seven day ticket Berlin AB 24.30 Euro.

About the meeting place:

Most of the time we will meet at the Kulturring office in Berlin-Baumschulenweg. The office is located at:

Access to public transportation: The office is less than a five minute walk from the S-Bahn station 'Baumschulenweg', linked with several S-Bahn lines. You find the station in the east part of town, towards the south, most lines going towards the East airport 'Schönefeld'.

About the hotel booking:

A few have contacted me about the hotel booking. As mentioned on the 'general' page you need to book your own hotel. All three hotels mentioned are still current but you can obviously stay somewhere else if you get a good offer online or through your travel agent.
I would suggest the East Side Gallery as the main 'course hotel'. Especially if you would like to stay together in the same place. Places are generally restricted though and tourism is fairly big in June so not everybody might get a room there. Try to book your room rather earlier than later!

About the payment of the course fees:

You can either pay the course fee (420 Euro) in Euro cash when you arrive or you can transfer the money directly on the Kulturring EU account. If you transfer the money you have to make sure that the money arrives here in Berin not later than the 7th June2004. If the money has not been transferred by then you would need to bring the fee in Euro cash. I can't give out the course attendance forms if the money is not paid in time. This means that you won't be able to claim the money from your Agency.

The bank details in case you want to transfer the money:

Account owner: Kulturring in Berlin e.V., Giselastr. 12, 10317 Berlin, Germany
IBAN number: DE43100200004388203003
